Updated Fall-Winter Hours

For the past few years, we have put our famous Red Wine and Chocolate Tour on hold due to COVID. This year we will bring back a scaled back version of the event. President’s Day weekend, Olympic Cellars will host a Love, Wine and Chocolate weekend. Join us February 17, 18, & 19th for a luscious weekend filled with WeDo Fudge and wine pairings.
Twelve of our wines will be open and for a $15 tasting fee (Wine Club $7.50), you may sample four wines of your choice. Once you have your wine, step back into the cellar and Christina from WeDo Fudge will help you find the perfect pairing of handmade fudge or caramel to compliment your wine selection.
White, red, sweet, and dry will all be open including a new release, the 2018 Kalaloch Lemberger. This is a very special wine we created in honor of the Kalaloch Lodge on the Pacific Coast. Its deep, rich blueish purple color is indicative of the flavor and fragrance. Although Lemberger is a medium bodied red, it is packed with flavors of purple berries, like blueberry and blackberry.
We are excited to announce that Gypsy Sisters Apothecary will join us for a pop-up market in the cellar. Their skincare and wellness products will have you swooning. They are vegan, 100% natural, holistic, & ayurvedic. Check them out here: Gypsy Sisters Apothecary. Our Sasha started this business with her sister. Sasha is passionate about lavender and skin care and it shines through in her products!
This is not a ticketed event. It is a pay-as-you-go event and the Wineries in the area will be open for the weekend and most will have chocolate and wine pairing.
Sincerely,
Lisa, Molly, Randi, Sasha, Greg, Shelly, and Randi

Zinfandel, 2015 –
Brick red with orange rim, this wine shows extensive barrel age. Aromas include spicy red fruit, tobacco, sour cherry, pie cherry, red currant and blackberry. Very complex. Long, graceful and smooth finish. Best 2021 – 2024.
Malbec, 2016 –
Dark red with a ruby rim. On the nose notes of black currant, Bing cherry and cigar box. In the mouth flavors of ripe, red raspberry, juicy, bright cherry and currant. Long, elegant finish with fine grained tannin. Chewy and juicy with lingering notes of chocolate. Will really open up after the new year (2021) and peak in 2025.
Syrah, 2015 –
A deep, rich purple color, this wine features flavors of blueberry and spice with a hint of black pepper and a lingering finish. Expect well balanced fruit, tannins and acidity. We have been sourcing Syrah grapes from Sagemoor Vineyard for over 15 years.
Petite Sirah, 2016 –
This is a well-balanced wine tasting of juicy plum, blackberry, and raspberry flavors. It has a bright acidity and delicate flavors with a nice oak touch on the finish. Lonesome Spring Vineyard
Concert Update –
We are sorry but Washington State is not allowing live performances. So, our 2020 Summer Concert Series has been canceled.
Wine Tastings –
We are receiving questions daily about wine tasting. Unfortunately, due to the rapidly changing and complex tasting room rules, we are unable to conduct wine tastings at this time. Once we begin tasting again, there are many public safety requirements that we will have to follow, including contact tracing. It will look different but hopefully, if we all work together, we can slowly return to sharing our lives again.
We look forward to enjoying a glass together soon!
Virtual Hugs,
Lisa, Molly, Randi, Sasha, Gregory, Nicole, Patricia, Steve, David, Astrid, and Tom
