Fat Chance Band, Olympic Peninsula

FAT CHANCE has been rocking the Olympic Peninsula for the last three decades. They are indeed a much loved institution in this area. While known for their all-night dance and party extravaganzas, recently they have started recording from the catalog of their own original material.  This has produced two great CDs..."LIKE IT WAS BEFORE" (2003), and "CLOSING IN" (2007).

FAT CHANCE is a four-piece (two guitars, bass, and drums, four singers) band-you won't find keyboards in the mix. They play a style of music that could be described as "Nu Classic Rock"...They write songs that tell about where they live and the people that populate that whacky universe. All four of the members take the lead vocal position at various times and each has their own unique expression to bring to the table. The result is very much a group effort...effortlessly blended and served up with a solid helping of insight and humor.  Artist Website

The Senate Band, Seattle, WA

How do you classify a band with a dash of folk, a pinch of funk, a hint of metal and a heaping dollop of musical ingenuity?  "Acoustic muscle music," said Nick Drummond, rhythm guitarist and vocalist for The Senate. The Senate has performed sold-out gigs across the state and snatched first place in the Washington State University Battle of the Bands in the spring of 2007.  Artist Website

Deadwood Revival

If you put a Georgia theater chick, a California drummer-turned-banjo player, a Deadhead bass player and a bluegrass fiddler in the same room and say...."alright folks... make some music" ...you'd think that the result would be...well... interesting to say the least. Well , it is far more than interesting. It's Deadwood Revival. A most unlikely group of musicians join together to make some of the most unassuming, honest "feel good" music filled with the spirit of old-time Appalachia, soulful American roots and a hint of jam-band improvisation.  Artist Website
