Winner of Olympic Cellars’ Washington Wine Month giveaway to experience wine country and lavender celebration in style

Port Angeles, Wash., June 26, 2008 - Jeanette Sherwood of Maple Valley, Wash. will soon depart on the ultimate July Working Girl® Road Trip. The lucky winner of a special giveaway sponsored by Olympic Cellars’ award-winning Working Girl wines during Washington Wine Month (March) will tour Olympic Wine Country and take in the Sequim Lavender Festival in a red 2008 Lincoln MKX AWD, accompanied by her two daughters and their own private chauffeur.

The giveaway package includes wine tasting and a private tour at Olympic Cellars with French winemaker Benoit Murat, just in time for the July 12 release of Gracefully Aging Red, a 2006 Zinfandel commemorating the fifth anniversary of the Working Girl® series of wine.

Massages at Inner Lighthouse, a wine paired dinner at Cedar Creek Restaurant, and overnight accommodations at Red Caboose Getaway B&B, all located in Sequim, will round-out a memorable visit to the Lavender Capital of North America. The getaway will conclude with a tour of Port Angeles area wineries and the opportunity to shop for the perfect remembrance with a gift certificate provided by Port Angeles’ Necessities and Temptations.

The Lincoln MKX AWD is on loan from Price Ford Lincoln Mercury in Port Angeles. General Sales Manager Mark Osroot will be the official getaway chauffeur.

Sherwood’s name was drawn on April 6 during the Taste Washington! Grand Tasting event at the Quest Field Event Center in Seattle.
